Mr. Jerry Larson is a corn and soybean farmer from Elbow Lake.  Jerry was a founding board member in the formation of Chippewa Valley Ethanol Company of Benson and DENCO, LLC in Morris.  He has served as a board member of RFA and is past president of the MN Coalition for Ethanol, the local school board, and Elbow Lake Coop Grain.

Currently, Jerry serves on the MCR&PC.  As a member of that organization, he served 4 years on the NCGA Research and Business Development team, was a delegate to the US Grains Council, chairman of the Expanded Uses team and was part of a team writing the Future Structure of Agriculture document published in February of 2005 for NCGA.  Jerry is an investor in SDSP of Volga, MNSP in Brewster, DENCO, CVEC, and Roseville Wind IV, LLC.

Mr. Larson also is the Vice Chairman of Minnesota Corn Research and Promotion Council.  He is a graduate of Concordia College in Moorhead and has a Masters Degree in Education from Moorhead State.

He and his wife, Gail, received the Farm Family of the Year Award for Grant County in 1997. 

Mr. Larson has served as President of the Otter Tail Ag Enterprises, LLC Board since the company’s inception.
